‘Truly Affordable Housing will not only give access to ordinary Nigerians to own their own homes, but will also empower the people economically by creating jobs and providing skills development opportunities’ (Sam Odia, CEO MFF Housing)

Millard Fuller Foundation driven by the passion to provide affordable accommodation to Nigerians who earn below N50, 000 salary continues to make impact in the housing sector in Nigeria.

The passion by the company to make housing affordable to Nigerians helped it bagged the Affordable Housing Project of the Year award at the 2016 edition of Nigerian Housing Awards.

The award has no doubt opened more vistas and doors of partnership for Fuller Foundation towards becoming one of the most respected and recognizable major housing players in Nigeria. The award also put the company at a vantage position of benefiting immensely from the N13Billion housing scheme initiated by the Federal Ministry of Finance and Nigerian Mortgage Re-finance Company for Federal Civil Servants.

Barely six months after winning the award, the Hon. Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, visited the Fuller site to see for herself and in her remarks she was highly impressed by the work of Fuller and the quality of construction on the site.

Her visit was followed almost immediately by the Hon. Minister of Power, Works, and Housing Babatunde Raji Fashola. While on the tour of the site, the Minister gave Fuller thumbs up and praised the quality of construction, promising to partner in areas of interest with Fuller.
